📢【Scooter Rental Policy for Foreign Travelers】
To protect the rights of both parties, foreign travelers must comply with the following requirements:
1️⃣ A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) or Motorcycle License (Taiwan) is required
2️⃣ The IDP must include an “A category (motorcycle)” with an official stamp in order to rent a scooter.
👉 If only the “B category (car)” is stamped, scooter rental is not permitted.
3️⃣ A valid credit card must be provided for registration before rental.
This is to ensure that any traffic fines incurred after leaving Taiwan can be properly handled.
